As some of you might have seen already on my Instagram, last month I had the extreme honour to embark on a week's adventure to discover Venice the Venetian way and the pre-view of the infamous Venice Biennale 2017 before it opened to the public. It was a truly special week, ever since I visited Venice for the first time in 2015 (also during the Biennale) I always wanted to come back - so being able discover a city in a completely new way like I did on this trip was unforgettable.
It was a week full of art, discovering the best exhibitions that the Biennale has to offer, from the regular fair to private viewings in Palazzo's and art galleries around the city. We went by boat thanks to Laguna Longa Venice Cruises who offered us their boat for the week (book your own boat here). Island hopping has never been more smooth from Mestre and Lido to Burano and Murano, we went wine tasting on the roofs of Venice with Santa Margherita Wines - the views over those rooftops must be one of the world's prettiest views - so much history in this city - it's a throwback in time.
Many of you have asked where the navy suit is from and it is Venetian fashion brand Barena Venezia (here) also pictured above. It's the perfect light cotton suit and you know how much I appreciate I great navy summer suit.
I managed to pick up the perfect souvenir from the city - one of my favourite scents from Merchant of Venice - the bottle is just as beautiful as the scent. If you haven't been to their store I would highly recommend to pass by while you are in the city - they really are the Art of the Scent - check them out here.
Forever grateful to have met so many interesting people, discovered the most incredible art and some of Venice finest restaurants and rooftops. Thank you to Venezia Da Vievere for making dreams come true.
